This site may be operating under a trading name, however still remains the sole property of Welwyn Tool Group Ltd.

The information we collect

We collect certain aspects of information from your internet service provider for two specific purposes: Statistical Analysis and Consensual Marketing. By default when you view our website, we capture the following information purely for statistical analysis:

We use this information to ensure our website advertising is targeted to the correct area

Email Addresses

We will only collect your email address if you provide it to us – for example when registering, placing an order or requesting a download. By default we will automatically add you to our marketing mailing list. We do not sell on or expose your email address to any other company or third party. Personal Details

We collect your personal details only when you submit them to us. We store your details in a secure database on site. We will never sell on your details or pass them on to a third party without your permission first.

Third Party use of Information

Welwyn Tool Group Ltd will never pass on or sell your details to a third party (excluding distributors) without your permission first. We will only use your information internally within our group. We may however pass your details onto our authorised distributors (example for enquiries within their allocated area).

E-Commerce and Web Orders

When you place a web order we will automatically enter your details onto our system, at which point this particular policy no longer applies. Our e-commerce websites are operated on behalf of Welwyn Tool Group Ltd, by Systems AXIS Ltd – who are authorised to act on our behalf. In the event of technical difficulties your order details may be viewed/ shared with Systems Axis Ltd, however this will only be for the purposes of Fault Resolution at our end. In this instance the website privacy policy will apply. We may store the details of your order for the purposes of warranty and statistical analysis.

Orders placed online are encrypted and authorised by GeoTrust Inc. Credit & Debit card payments are processed through Protx Ltd and HSBC Bank plc. Welwyn Tool Group Ltd accepts limited liability of payments processed online through our e-commerce websites. This excludes fraudulent activity.

Your Agreement

By submitting your information, you consent to the use of that information as set out in this policy. If we change our Privacy Policy we will post the changes on this page, and may place notices on other pages of the Site so that you may be aware of the information we collect and how to use it at all times. We will also e-mail you should we make any changes so that you may consent to our use of your information in that way. Continued use of this service will signify that you agree to any such changes.
